Terms
Price of the order
will be detailed on the quote and will be priced based on the size of the cake and level of detail.
Booking fee,
I require a non-refundable booking fee to be paid for all cakes to secure the date of the celebration. Without this booking fee your date will not be secure, and priority will be given to the first that secures their date with a paid booking fee.
Wedding cakes require a booking fee of $200, and can paid when ordering my sample box.
The booking fee covers work carried out such as research, communication by email, phone, online video calls and/ or messaging, providing quotes and information about your wedding cake.
Final payment
The balance of all cakes is due 6 week prior to the event. if the balance is not paid the cake may be cancelled and any payment/booking fee lost.
Alterations to orders
I want to make sure that I am accommodating as possible, therefore I ask that you check your invoice to ensure they are accurate, and ask that contact is made as soon as possible. to rectify any changes.
Unfortunately, it is not always possible.

Cake Components
Occasionally there may be non-edible components on the cake, however this will be advised prior to delivery and instructions given to the venue.
Collection/Delivery
Celebration cakes can be collected from the business premises. If you would prefer delivery, it is free of charge within 3mile radius.
I do prefer to deliver and set up at wedding venue, and for other tier cakes.
Wedding delivery costs will depend on the location of the venue. The cost will be quoted on initial enquiry and during the consultation.
I am not liable for cakes once they have left the premises if the customer is picking up the cake. I will give advice on correct transportation and care of your cake.

Cake Location
it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the venue has provided a table, and or location for the cake to be displayed.
I am not responsible for the cake once it has been delivered or picked up.
Allergies
All cakes are baked in a kitchen which contains nuts and other allergens such as wheat,
eggs and dairy products. Please let me know if you have guests with allergies. Documentation will be provided to the venue with allergen information for each tier delivered,
Once the cake is delivered we have no control over allergens at the venue.
Best before dates
All Cakes are baked fresh for date of your occasion therefore I advise that it is consumed on this date.
I cannot quarantee quality if consumed more than 48 hour after event.
Hire of cake stands
I hire cake stands for weddings at a cost of $30.00
a security deposit is also required which is refunded upon return.
It is the customers responsibility to let Chef T Wedding Cakes know if you require one.
Stands deposits will vary in cost depending on the value of the cake stand.
Cake stands must be returned by the customer to Chef T Wedding Cakes, 700 W. Woodlawn Ave. San Antonio, Tx 78212 within 5 days of the celebration undamaged.
If damage has occurred, or the cake stand is not returned the deposit will be retained to replace the cake stand.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by the customer: If your order is cancelled, your booking fee is non-refundable.
This covers any work that has already been carried out , such as contact via phone/email, consultations, loss of other cakes I will have had to turned away that I am unable to re-fill.
Cancellation within 30 days of the wedding will be subject to full payment. If Full payment has been made no refunds will be given.
If payment has not been made the full payment is required immediately. I am unabel to give any refunds as I will not be able to refill this date.
More Terms
Force Majeure Clause
I shall not be liable for any failure to perform, where such failure or delay results from any circumstances outside our reasonable control including but not limited to any fire flood, explosion, accident, adverse weathe conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any private or public highway, riot , government act, act of war, terrorism, act of God, or from any industrial dispute or strike whatsoever.
Cancellations By Chef T Wedding Cakes
In the event of exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness.
Chef T Wedding Cakes will give much notice as possible if I am unable to fulfill your order.
I will endeavor to find another cake maker to produce your order will refund.
